Boyfriend thinks making out is weird...?

I'm not talking about just weird because of the stage in the relationship we're at. He thinks its just strange, he also thinks anything other than a peck is weird. I'm not sure what to do because I'm a very intimate person; it's not like I'm looking to have sex but I'm not going to ever go from pecking him then having sex with him in the future. Now THAT'S weird. Also, he was talking about how his family dislikes people with body modification, something I hope to have plenty of when I'm older. He said he would never marry a girl his family disapproved of, no matter what and, while that's admirable, it worries me. God, what do I do?
