Should I get a Yorkie or a Guinea Pig?

My dad has given me the option to get a Yorkshire Terrier,or a Guinea Pig. Since my parents are divorced,and im only eleven,Im only with my dad every other weekend and on every wednesday -thursday.I have 3 cats at my moms house, so cant get either of them.At my dads,I have a golden retreiver,and he was scared of my last hampster,so im pretty sure that he will leave a guinea pig alone. I want a pet that would love me and want to be handeld and play with.I am willing to clean the cage and feed the guinea pig,and im willing to care for and feed the yorkie.I have done an admirable amout of reaserch of both.If you could tell me some of your experiences with these animals and some products such as cages,beds, feeding etc. Ans even you could tell me what not to get and why i should or shouldnot.thanks!!!1
