Tips on decorating room on a low budget?

Maybe look into buying some fancy light fixtures or table lamps. I always feel like changing up the lighting in a room can give it a whole new feel and generally they're pretty easy to install or find space for, depending on the size. (At least easier than painting, that's for sure!) You could even buy different colored bulbs to create moods for your room, and that would be almost like painting, but more versatile.
