Teens and Parents: How do you feel about teenage partying?

I'm against it. I'm a teenager and I don't believe you need to go to parties where there's alcohol and drugs to have fun. That's absurd. Why would you want to be trashed and not remember what you did the last night? I find that sickening. There are so many other productive things you could do with your life than go to some stupid party and get high or drunk. What benefits is that giving you? Drugs fry your brain as does alcohol. I don't think it's some "normal" teenage experience or that it should be. I also don't think kids that don't party should be admired, guess what... That's what they're supposed to be doing. Yes, it's good they choose not to, but why praise good behavior on that? Teens shouldn't be wanting to get drunk or high thinking that it's "cool". It's NOT cool, it's gross.
