Teenage girl bedroom decorating?

I'm redecorating my bedroom and it has got a light purple carpet so I'm wanting to know which colours would look best with the carpet because I don't really want to change it... I was thinking maybe green and white but not quite sure :/ Any design ideas would be very grateful thanks :) xox
