I hate the color of my room! How can I spice it up?

heres an idea i used....try using lamps...and AVOID overhead lighting...when you use lamps, it varies the lighting area so some places are darker than others...they sell (or at least used to) sell these lightbulbs that look like stained slass and really look cool when you put them in a lamp. try getting a cool comforter like zebra print or cheetah print..
