PARENTS: how often do you let your children paint/redecorate their room?

6 and 10. They haven't painted their rooms in 3 years but get new comforters every year. When my daughter is a teen, I won't mind her painint once a year because I understand that kids go through stages. If you just tell your parent's your out of that stage and would like your room changed, they will completely understand!!
