Different types of Wall Covering?

I am redecorating a bedroom in my home. I am looking for an easy inexpensive way to replace water damaged sheet Rock walls. I have seen what looks like Paneling with a wallpaper like overlay on it. I do not know what this is called. I would like something like paneling but not the wood color. Something with a nice pattern not to bold. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
