How do people collect lots of Jordan sneakers?

Im wondering because theres this dude i know who collects over 15++ pair of jordans & shops at exspensive stores such as The Hundreds & Supreme. Every week he gets a new pair or trades. How does he collect all of them & afford them ? I always wanted a pair of jordans but there so exspensive.. Btw i posted it in this section cause i figured this is the only section that people probably know about jordans/sneakers . . How can i do the same as him? Im 15 but i dont have a job.. :/
